Trying to find a path in life isn’t always easy. Statistically many successful people have failed miserably several times before figuring out their passion. The quest to find ones true calling is a lifelong endeavor with ups and downs. Many people find their greatest victories in life have been preceded by defeat and usually relevant in scope.
Internet marketing is a fantastic way to market a product or service. Never before was it possible to reach so many people so easily making internet marketing a great way to do business. Unfortunately, the crooks have discovered this as well, and are planted deep within the internet. Without naming them, their fruit shows their true character you just need to know what to look for.
What this all means today is more important now than ever, especially now when hope for many seems to be lost. It is unreasonable to tell someone living in a tent city to buck up because they can make it happen if they only believe. Likewise putting someone in debt or taking their last dollar to sign them to a money making opportunity is akin to robbery of the worst kind.
Internet Marketing has achieved one of the worst names of any industry today and rightfully so. It cannot hide the fact 97% of all people who try it fail without making money, and most will go into debt trying to make it work. Most programs are set up with a blindside tactic to get people to sign up then immediately follow with an up sell of some type.
The scammers are alive and well peddling their wares of rich overnight schemes even in these tragic times. They have flooded the social networking sites preaching the virtues of social networking all the while in league with each other for the next big launch. It is past time to see that much of the Internet Marketing Industry is a rip off cloaked in opportunity. There are great teachers, opportunities, and legitimate ways to make money on the Internet. Just learn to be a good shopper to spot the fraud.
Here are a few tips to spot a scam:
- They have just a limited number of spots, and you might be lucky enough to get one.
- They are taking the product off the market in a specified amount of time.
- Lots of testimonials from people on how much money they made.
- Beware the Guru who can sell ice to Eskimos. They will sell you on more than you need, and who needs a truckload of ice?
- Everything is done for you with your membership, no calling, no selling, in reality you will just feed them members and their bank account.
- Opportunities to sell an opportunity are the worst, usually loaded with outdated software, articles, self help, and advertising scams to get more of the members money. These programs usually have some sort of 1 up, 2up, forced matrix type of selling lingo.
- They are offering you a pile of binders, cd’s, and videos to teach you how to be just like them. Take note: There are a few reputable people who’s business is teaching people how to sell, do not confuse them with the opportunity Guru.
Before anyone signs up, or purchases anything related to Internet Marketing they should check it out thoroughly. There isn’t any miracle software, program, or Guru that will change your circumstances overnight. The only action proved to change circumstances is taking positive action in tangible, value based ways. People need reality, and it never goes out of style. Anyone can make a difference in their own life by taking a series of deliberate steps towards something better, and it is rarely found in any type of opportunity selling an opportunity.
Dream big and succeed. Live well and overcome. Be the integrity you would like to find, and you will make a difference. Produce value in your efforts to make your world and others a better place.
