Installing the Scribefire addon for Firefox can add a nice external editor to your WordPress Blog. I don’t use this pluggin because I like to hand code every page but if your html is a little rusty this is for you.
Simply follow the instructions in this video and you will being blogging in some real comfort. Using the visual editor inside of your blog can do some strange things to the code, and that makes an external system like this very nice.

One word of caution with this and sorry to say most visual editors is errant coding. Rarely will wysiwyg type editors produce great code. Wysiwyg editors are an excellent tool to start with but can never replace learning how to write html.
