Wordpress is an amazing platform for web development offering versatility that is very hard to match. Although Wordpress is marketed as a blogging platform, it has really come into its own as a Content Management System. The Wordpress community is large and robust with a myriad of plug ins and resources.
One the best things about the Wordpress platform is the ability to change your websites look with a new theme, however caution must be used if you have a custom site. Logistics Studio sites are built using custom code to mimimze the use of the standard blog sidebar by incorporating page templates, and utilize pretty permalinking. This type of custom coding takes the site to a different level for Search Engine Optimization as well as the unique look some people demand.
